Play-at-home preschool

Homeschooling for preschool doesn't have to be hard! This is my first year with a set schedule, but even last year when Luke was two going into three, he loved some of the little activities we'd do and he always begged me to "do preschool." I think more than any academic content kids may learn, doing preschool at home is a great preparation for school because it teaches them school habits and school routines in a safe, familiar environment.

And holy cow, it's 2014 - there's SO MUCH online (Pinterest, anyone?) that there's no reason to feel like you have to reinvent the wheel to do preschool at home. There are not enough hours in the day or days in the school year to do all the wonderful things that moms all over the world have come up with and is now at our fingertips.

My posts here are just some ideas of what we're trying out. Anyone is welcome to use anything you see. Happy learning!

My preschool Pinterest boards:
